Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be an astronaut? How it feels to eat and sleep in outer space? “Go for the Stars” is a hands-on multimedia space program by aerospace educator Gary T. Pozzato. Lift-off and learn about the International Space Station Spacecraft, planetary and satellite orbits, microgravity and weightlessness, space travel to the Moon and Mars, the Space Shuttle Orbiter, rockets and much more. Meet Robo the Friendly Robot, dress in astronaut flight suits and perform demonstrations.
This hour-long free program is suitable for all astronauts-in-training ages 5 to 105. Take-off begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. so buckle-up and enjoy the ride. No registration required. Call 247-1920, ext. 4, for more information.
