BHS Interact Club raises money for Haiti
Current and former BHS students involved in fund-raiser
The Interact Club at Barrington High School in conjunction with the Barrington/Warren Rotary Club recently held a fund-raising dinner and raised more than $3,000 to benefit Haiti.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Eric and Cate Chason of Barrington recently announced new resources to help future students in the department of dramatic art. The Lillian Chason Scholarship and the Lillian Chason Undergraduate Excellence Fund honor Lillian Chason, a first-year drama student who died following an illness in Dec. 2009.

An 18-year-old Wakefield resident was stopped for speeding by local police at 2:26 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14 and later charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol-first offense, possession of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine, and refusing to submit to a chemical test.
