BARRINGTON — The Barrington Recreation Department hosted its second annual Flag Football Super Bowl on Nov. 11, and more than 100 young athletes turned out for the event.
In the 7- to 8-year-old division, a team calling itself the Flying Eagles captured the title. The team included Brigham Dunphy, Michael Raffa, John Fay, Connor Huard, Quinn Gaffney, Andrew Jameison, Davis Moore, Luke Gorham, Connor Sullivan, Thomas Huard, Matthew Spears and William Loew.
Barrington Recreation Department Director John Taylor said he was pleased with the turnout.
“Everyone had a good time and there was lot of football,” Mr. Taylor wrote in a recent e-mail.
