Former Barrington High standouts Molly Malinowski, Abby Jones and Sarah Barry competed for their respective schools in the New England Collegiate Cross Country Championships, Oct. 8, in Boston.
BOSTON, MASS. — The former trio of Barrington High School girls' harrier standings — Sarah Barry, Abby Jones and Molly Malinowski — were together again over the weekend competing for their various schools in the New England Collegiate Cross Country Championships held Oct. 8 at Franklin Park.
Running in the Women's Varsity Race, Barry, representing Yale, ran 71st overall in 19 minutes, 8 seconds on the 5.017-kilometer layout. Jones, of Brown, clocked a 19:20 to place 84th. Katie Matthews of Boston University won the race in 17:18.
Malinowski, of Williams College, ran a time of 19:45 to place 37th in the Women's Sub-Varsity division. Moira Kenney of Boston College won the race in 18:41.
