— Barrington native Lex Sadasivan recently wrapped production on the film “SOLO” which is the heartfelt story of a close-knit aviation community mourning the loss of an experimental aircraft pilot. Mr. Sadasivian directed the film.

The majority of filming took place at Haller Air Park, a privately-owned air community located in Northeast Florida. Residents include an array of aviation icons, decorated veterans of the Air Force and Navy, and leaders in the experimental/home-built aviation movement.

Mr. Sadasivan attended high school at Moses Brown in Providence and graduated from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in film studies and psychology. An award-winning director of television and commercials, he served as executive producer of “In the Qube,” a show based on a pilot he created, produced and directed, which featured a unique 360-degree filming concept. He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he produces television shows for the YouToo cable network. “Revision3 Remix” and “Diggnation” are available in Barrington on Full Channel Cable.

Mr. Sadasivan will edit “SOLO” over the next few months, with a final cut expected at the end of March.
