The BAY Team, Barrington’s prevention coalition against drug and alcohol abuse, promotes a safe and healthy community through collaboration and communication. This month, The BAY Team is pleased to award Stephen Phelan with the distinction of Member of the Month.
Steve is owner of our local Verizon Wireless store and has been a member of the BAY Team for years as a volunteer.
Recently, Steve spoke to parents at Nayatt School about how to safely and responsibly introduce technology such as cell phones into our children’s lives. An additional presentation of, “Are You a Tech-Savvy Parent” will be presented at the Barrington Middle School on March 13 at 7 p.m. In addition to serving as a speaker and liaison to other business owners, Steve generously sponsors the monthly educational flyers that appear in this paper each month.
Steve is a member of the Barrington Business Association and a great example of a business leader who is invested in our community and dedicated to the wellness of its members. Thank you Steve for your efforts on behalf of The BAY Team.
