Richard T. Smith, 74, of Barrington, passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Orchard View Manor. He was the husband of Barbara (Bean) Smith.
Born in Barrington, Richard was the son of the late Herbert and Mildred (Heusal) Smith. Richard was a self-employed shellfisherman.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Randy Smith of East Providence; one daughter, Deborah Perry of East Providence; one brother and two sisters and four grandchildren.
Calling hours were held Tuesday with a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Ave., Riverside. Burial was scheduled to follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery.
