Ruth F. (Findlay) Simmons, 95, of Barrington, passed away on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012. She was the wife of the late Frederick A. Simmons.
She was born in Melrose, Mass. and was the daughter of the late James R. and Nina E. (Holt) Findlay.
She was a graduate of the New England School of Art in 1937. She was a member of Barrington United Methodist Church.
Ruth is survived by her four children, James (Andrea) Simmons of Barrington, Nina Simmons of Waterbury, Vt., Fred (JoAnn) Simmons of Alexandria, Va., and Linda (Randy) Simmons-Arnold of Waterbury, Vt.; two grandchildren, Jessica Simmons of Los Angeles, Calif., and Ryan Simmons of Washington, D.C.
