Barbara A. Luther, 93, of Vineland Drive, died peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012. She was the wife of the late Dean E. Luther.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Baker) Hadfield, she lived in Barrington for 62 years.
Mrs. Luther was a member of the Barrington American Legion Post No. 8 Women’s Auxiliary and the Naomi Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by three daughters, Lynda Marcoccia and her husband Frank of Barrington, Joyce DePoy and her husband Clyde of West Virginia and Robin DiQuinzio and her husband Robert of Barrington; a son, Donald Luther and his wife Ann of East Providence; a sister, Cora Turner of North Kingstown, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Albert Hadfield.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 from 4-8 pm. Burial will be held in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington. www.wrwatsonfuneralhome.com
