Lena J Cynar, of Sowams Road, Barrington, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was a legal secretary for 28 years before retiring in 1987.
Born in Barrington a daughter of the late Jacob and Katherine (Janusz) Cynar, she was a lifelong resident of Barrington. She was the sister of the late Frank and Henry Cynar, Irene Andreozzi, Helen Fournier and Sophie Avila. She is survived and fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their children.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. Funeral service will be at Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Ave., Barrington at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24. Interment will be at Maria del Campo in Barrington. Visit wjsmithfh.com
